The short version

We only hold what you give us: when you email us, message us, or enter a prize draw.
We use it for that reason and nothing else. We never sell it.
This site has no advertising or tracking cookies.
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold at any time.

Who we are

SMARTea Ltd makes ZenFusion. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 15653989. We decide how your information is used, so in data protection law we are the "controller".

What we collect and why

You buy ZenFusion on Amazon	Amazon takes your order, payment and address. We only see what Amazon passes to sellers, usually your name and order details.	To deal with your order, a question or a return. Legal reason: a contract with you, and the law on keeping business records. Amazon's own privacy notice covers what Amazon does.
You visit this site	Our hosting company records basic technical details, such as your IP address and browser, for a short time.	To keep the site working and safe. Legal reason: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

We don't send marketing emails. If we start, we will ask you first and every email will have a one-click unsubscribe.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our hosting company may set a cookie that is strictly needed to protect the site from attacks. Those don't need your consent and aren't used to follow you.

If we ever add other cookies, we will ask you first and update this page.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us do the things above:

Zoho, which runs our email, and Microsoft, whose Outlook app we read it in.
Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
Amazon, for orders placed there.
A delivery company, to send a prize to a winner.

We may also share information if the law requires it. We never sell your information or pass it on for anyone else's marketing.

Some of these companies store data outside the UK, including in the EU and the USA. When they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards that UK law accepts, such as the UK's adequacy rules for the EU, the UK-US data bridge, or the UK's standard contract terms.

How long we keep it

Emails and messages: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.
Prize draw entries: deleted 2 months after the draw closes. The winner's surname and county are kept for 3 months after closing, because the rules on prize draws say we must be able to show who won.
Order and business records: 6 years, because the law on company and tax records requires it.
Website technical records: a few days, as set by our hosting company.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

give you a copy of the information we hold about you
correct it if it's wrong
delete it
stop or limit how we use it
give it to you in a form you can pass to someone else.

Email us to ask. It's free, and we will reply within one month. We may need to check who you are first. Sometimes the law lets us keep something, for example tax records; if so, we will tell you why.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've used your information, please tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Children

This site and our prize draws are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change how we use information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
